Hello

My name is Farhod Family and I'm an Emmy award winning producer based in New York. I’ve worked at some very wonderful places like the New York Times and most recently at Great Big Story. Currently, I’m working at a production company I co-founded, called Studio Koa.

I was born and raised in the US by Iranian parents and spent most my childhood in a French emersion school in Boston. I'm a graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and The University of Hawaii at Manoa.
